NUREMBERG ..TOO FEW DAYS

If you followed our journey you would have read about the train/bus/ train situation from Prague, connection times looked scary. But to our joy as we came to the station there was a German train co bus out side going direct to Nuremberg in quicker time..3.5 hrs
A quick decision was made to jump on the bus....our Eurail pass covered the cost bar 4 euro's each for seat reservations....within minutes of paying the fee we were off. The bus being about one third full.
A taxi was required to get to the very good hotel, which is located about 300mt from the Town Gate.
The old city is completely surrounded by a medieval wall, and a number of gates.
Now, this afternoon time was taken up with a typical German sausage and potato salad lunch ..a beer and then a walk to see the sights...it really is a very interesting place and the 2 days allocated isn't enough to do it justice.
Its history is long and its importance can't be under estimated  especially its impact after WW2.
More exciting stuff tomorrow.....I'm stuffed
