After getting access to the room it was into warm clothing to do a bit of sightseeing.
We are in a good location about 10 min uncomplicated walk to the station and an easy walking distance to see all the big attractions, the rain and cold did distract us a bit, but we just soldiered on, to quote one of my followers.
Saw a couple of very large cathedrals, and the Ratshaus (City Town Hall and Mayors Offices.)
Great name for those in politics....did anyone see the great Australian doco/movie .."Rats in the Ranks"....A Sydney Council with infighting between Labor members on the Council ..
The day finished with an early dinner in a beer haus, mainly to get out of rain and avoid another trip out to eat later that night...the meal was Ok.
