This is our last day here in GENOA, and we agree its time to move on to the next stop in Switzerland..which is the town of BRIG.
But what I really want to moan about was last night at 21 via Lorenzo 2nd floor..what a night it was.
I'm sure I have mentioned the noise level from the bar in the narrow alley below our windows before but last night took the cake.
Friday night must be party night for the mainly young set... serious noise level kicks off at 10pm but by 1am, 2am and then 3.30am the noise was at its peak.
We tried our ear plugs, they helped me a bit but gave Sandie no joy at all, After 3.30am the party crowd broke up slowly, thank god.We can be grateful there was no music that we could hear! How others up and down the narrow alley put up with this amazes me.
We resolved to move from our airbnb to other accommodation for our last night. So it cost us an extra $135 dollars for the room with breakfast and 5 minutes to the station.. name Hotel Chopin
worth every dollar for a quiet nights sleep and a firm bed......bliss
We walked the bags to the new abode which took 25 minutes... on arrival we drank one of the 2 cans of beer we carted. Just before heading out for dinner we had that 2nd can of beer...how good it was.
