A couple of very large Ocean going ships were tied up, dozens of tourist buses were taking people on all sorts of land excursions. Still hundreds of others were lined up to catch ferries, to islands like Capri and onto the port of Sorrento.
Because of all the works going on the area isn't that attractive so we hiked it into the main tourist area again for lunch.
It's MAY DAY and a public holiday , there are a few minor demo's that we came across but the holiday has meant lots more people strolling all the streets.
